Простір знищених будинків і понівечених осель постає як ландшафт памʼяті, де особиста історія переплітається з історією країни.В основі вистави &ndash; досвід повернення додому після деокупації, осмислення втрати та збереження ідентичності через особисті речі-обереги: мамину хустку як символ родинної тяглості та ляльку-маріонетку Фріду Кало, створену українським художником-лялькарем Євгеном Невинським для попереднього мистецького проєкту. &ldquo;MOTHER&rsquo;S LULLABY&rdquo; is an intimate documentary-theatrical performance about returning to Irpin &mdash; a Hero City liberated from Russian occupation, which has become both a symbol of destruction and of resilience. The space of ruined buildings and damaged homes emerges as a landscape of memory, where personal history intertwines with the history of an entire nation. At the heart of the performance lies the experience of returning home after de-occupation, reflecting on loss and preserving identity through personal talisman-objects: a mother&rsquo;s headscarf as a symbol of family continuity, and a Frida Kahlo marionette created by Ukrainian puppet artist Yevhen Nevynskyi for a previous artistic project. After the artist&rsquo;s death at the front, the puppet acquires new meaning &mdash; becoming a material testimony of presence, memory, and an unfinished dialogue between art and war. The performance explores motherhood in wartime: mothers living between fear and hope, memory and faith, loss and unconditional love. &ldquo;MOTHER&rsquo;S LULLABY&rdquo; raises questions of personal and collective trauma, the responsibility of art during war, and the role of cultural memory in the process of societal recovery.

&ldquo;CRY OF THE NATION&rdquo; &ndash; is a name of a play presented by Ukrainian artIsts Liudmyla Kolosovych and Natalia Kaspshyshak. It is about preservation of the culture of Ukraine. Repressions for the Ukrainian identity and language, and for the love of the land are characteristics of not only present time. Clear cut Ukrainian position could easily take you to a prison during the Soviet occupation of Ukraine. A vivid example &nbsp;of resistance and courage is Vasyl Stus &ndash; a Ukrainian poet of the 60s, a translator, a writer, a thinker, a literary critic, an activist, a political prisoner of the Soviet Union, one of the most active members of the dissident movement. Stus was subjected to repressions by the Soviet dictatorship for his persuasion to preserve and develop the Ukrainian culture; his writings were forbidden and partially destroyed; and he himself was sentenced to lengthy imprisonment in Perm Region where he eventually died.

We warmly invite you to an inspiring literary evening with Ukrainian poet, artist, and theater figure Nadiia Krat from Lviv.Nadiia Krat&rsquo;s art combines poetic expression, deep emotion, and a profound love for Ukrainian culture. She is known in Lviv&rsquo;s artistic community as a director of children&rsquo;s theater productions and as a creative personality who brings warmth, sincerity, and spiritual depth to her work.Nadiia Krat works in the field of theater arts, collaborates on children&rsquo;s theatrical productions, and actively participates in the cultural life of Lviv. One of her creative projects is the play &ldquo;The Mischievous Little Frog,&rdquo; staged at the &ldquo;People and Puppets&rdquo; Theater.Her poetry reflects on humanity, memory, love, homeland, and the strength of the Ukrainian spirit. Guests of the evening will enjoy author readings, a warm artistic atmosphere, meaningful conversations, and an opportunity to experience contemporary Ukrainian literature.We sincerely invite all lovers of poetry and art to spend this special evening together with us.
