The George Regional Health System Foundation enhances community health by assisting patients in financial need, funding scholarships and health initiatives, and enhancing patient care.

GRHS Foundation 3rd Annual Golf Tournament 2025

Join us for the Pink Pumpkin Run on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in downtown Lucedale as we lace up and pink out in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! This fun and meaningful 5K run/walk helps raise awareness and critical funds for the Pink Ribbon Fund, a program of the GRHS Foundation that provides financial assistance for breast cancer testing and care for patients in our local communities. Whether you&rsquo;re running in honor of a loved one, in celebration of survivorship, cheering from the sidelines or to make a difference&mdash;you are making an impact with every step. Participants are encouraged to dress in their best pink attire as we &ldquo;pink out&rdquo; Lucedale in honor of survivors, fighters, and those we&rsquo;ve lost.&nbsp;&nbsp;After crossing the finish line, participants and their families are invited to the Pink Pumpkin Patch, our fall-themed celebration area filled with free activities for all ages. Get ready to dash through the snow (or at least the streets!) at the GRHS Foundation's annual 5k Reindeer Run, where every step supports a great cause! Lace-up your running shoes and join us on December 14th at GRHS Hospital for a festive morning of fun and fundraising.Our Reindeer Run isn't just about breaking personal records—it's about breaking barriers for our community. By participating, you're helping the GRHS Foundation find scholarships, provide healthcare services to people in our community, and help support GRHS to provide the best care to our residents. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a family of joggers, or a first-time participant, there's a spot for you in our race. Enjoy a brisk run/walk through downtown, adorned in your most festive attire. Prizes will be awarded for the best holiday-themed costumes, so don't be afraid to get creative!We will also have a Reindeer Dash…for children 7 and under.  It’s a short dash down the main event strip.  Dress your little one up in Christmas attire and enjoy a fun dash with Santa to the finish line.  All little runners will receive their own runner’s bib and a winner’s medal at the finish line.  The Reindeer Dash has a separate entry fee of $5 and starting time is 8:00 a.m.  (Event t-shirts are not included, but can be ordered upon registration.) Gather your friends, family, and coworkers to form a team, or come solo and make new friends along the route.
