This growing network of food-bearing, shade-producing, soil-enriching trees &amp; plants will be maintained &amp; harvested by us and our volunteers/paid workforce, and surplus harvests within our Food Rescue distribution network will go towards feeding local communities most in need for generations to come. Phoenix Gardening “50/50 Rolling Raffle”

We&rsquo;re hosting a special Mother&rsquo;s Day landscape installation giveaway on May 9, where we&rsquo;ll be transforming a deserving family&rsquo;s outdoor space with sustainable, water-wise landscaping elements.We&rsquo;re currently inviting a few community-minded partners to support the project through material donations or discounted supplies. Mother’s Day Giveaway Campaign

Join the Phoenix Food Forest for a two-day community Permablitz as we expand the neighborhood food forest with a major planting of citrus trees from Permascaping&rsquo;s wholesale citrus program. Together, we&rsquo;ll plant citrus and build resilient perennial shrub and ground-cover guilds designed to support pollinators, improve soil, conserve moisture, and create a productive living landscape. We&rsquo;ll also tackle earthworks and&mdash;if City approval is secured in time&mdash;curb cuts to help bring stormwater into the landscape. Volunteer registration is organized into morning and afternoon shifts on both days. Choose the day and shift that works best for you. Each shift initially has 20 volunteer spots; we may open more capacity after those spots fill. Exact meetup instructions, what to bring, and any City-approval updates will be emailed to registered volunteers before the event.
