Michal's Hope Inc empowers kidney disease patients by providing essential support for daily needs like transportation, groceries, and utilities. Their mission is to alleviate suffering and foster hope through community-driven assistance and recognition of dedicated individuals.

FOR YOU, IT MIGHT BE AN ORDINARY DAY.You wake up in your own bed.You make breakfast. You get into your car. You go where you need to go. And at the end of the day, you come home. There is comfort in simply knowing where you will sleep tonight. Now imagine navigating that same day while undergoing dialysis, preparing for a kidney transplant, or recovering from transplant surgery.Your next appointment may be hours from home. You may need to return tomorrow. And again next week.Your caregiver may need somewhere to stay too.Meanwhile, regular life has not stopped. The rent is still due. The electric bill still comes. Groceries still have to be purchased. Gas still has to go into the car. For individuals living with kidney disease, the road to healing can come with expenses and obstacles most of us never see.Michal&rsquo;s Hope sees them.And we want to do something about them. BUILDING MICHAL&rsquo;S HOPE HOMEAt Michal&rsquo;s Hope, Inc., our mission is to serve individuals throughout the kidney disease journey by connecting patients and families with resources, food, shelter, financial assistance, and support. Our next vision is the Michal&rsquo;s Hope Medical Facility and Hope Home &mdash; a compassionate, patient-centered temporary residence created for kidney patients and their families who need to remain close to critical medical care. The proposed home will include 20 private patient suites, each with its own private bathroom.10 suites will be dedicated to dialysis patients actively completing the evaluation and workup process for possible placement on the AdventHealth Kidney Transplant waiting list. 10 suites will provide temporary accommodations for kidney transplant recipients receiving care through the AdventHealth Transplant Institute who need housing before or after transplant surgery and during follow-up treatment and recovery. The vision also includes a commercial kitchen, community dining area, laundry facilities, comfortable common spaces, staff areas, and an environment designed to provide dignity, connection, encouragement, and healing. MORE THAN FOUR WALLSWe want Michal&rsquo;s Hope Home to become the place where a patient walks through the door after a difficult appointment and knows:I can rest here. Where a caregiver knows:I can stay close. And where a family knows:We have support. Michal&rsquo;s Hope currently provides financial assistance for needs including gas, groceries, utilities, rent, mortgage payments, and other essentials that help kidney patients remain healthy and continue treatment.Michal&rsquo;s Hope Home is the next step. OUR $1 MILLION BUILDING HOPE CAMPAIGNOur goal is to raise $1 million by August 2028 to help bring Michal&rsquo;s Hope Home from vision to reality. Phase One: Raise $500,000 by August 2027Phase Two: Raise an additional $500,000 by August 2028 Your gift can help us move from a vision on paper to a home with open doors.
