Artsy French in Nature Summer Camp
Welcome to Mighty Moose Artsy French in Nature Summer Camp!Mighty Moose Artsy French Summer Camp is a fully outdoor, immersive program where children discover French through creativity, nature, and play. Instead of memorizing vocabulary, campers naturally develop their French language skills through hands-on experiences in art, drama, storytelling, and outdoor exploration. Inspired by authentic French culture, children explore La Fontaine’s fables, Charles Perrault’s fairy tales, Claude Monet’s artwork, and the Guignol puppet tradition while creating through drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, sculpture, and nature-inspired 3D art. Surrounded by nature, children are encouraged to observe, imagine, create, and communicate in French throughout the day. Each camper brings home unique creations—such as illustrated nature journals, handcrafted artwork, puppets, and nature-inspired projects—while building confidence and practical French vocabulary through joyful, meaningful experiences. Whether new to French or continuing their language journey, children will enjoy a nurturing outdoor environment where French comes alive through creativity, curiosity, and exploration.Program DetailsYou can choose one or more summer camps in the following weeksAugust 10–14, 2026August 17–21, 2026August 24–28, 2026August 31–September 4, 2026Schedule:Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.Drop-off Location:5210 University Blvd, VancouverSt. Anselm’s Anglican Church (Front Entrance), UBC CampusCost:$349/weekWhat to Bring:Please bring a packed snack and lunch, a water bottle, a sunhat, sunscreen, and comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for active play and exploration.Acknowledgement of Policies: By enrolling, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the Classroom Policies, Refund Policies and Pick-Up Policies of Mighty Moose Learning Centre.
