Mizmaar Institute fosters Qur'an memorization and Islamic family services in Chicago, ensuring children connect with their faith through qualified teachers and authentic traditions, while preparing future generations to carry this legacy forward.

Mizmaar Institute, Inc. is an Illinois nonprofit corporation, incorporated on July 30, 2026, based in the Chicago area and dedicated to Qur&#39;an memorization, Ijazah and Sanad certification, and Islamic family services. Mizmaar&#39;s application for federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is currently pending with the IRS; once granted, the exemption will apply retroactively to the organization&#39;s date of incorporation, and contributions will be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. For over 1,400 years, the Qur&#39;an has passed from teacher to student, heart to heart, unbroken. That chain has never depended on buildings or budgets &mdash; it has depended on people willing to carry it forward.&nbsp; Mizmaar Institute exists to carry it forward here, in Chicago. We&#39;re building a place where children memorize the entire Qur&#39;an under the direct guidance of a qualified teacher &mdash; not a recording, not an app, but a real, living connection to a real, living tradition.&nbsp; Our founder&#39;s own certification traces back through just 29 narrators to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ &mdash; one of the most direct chains of our time. That&#39;s the standard we&#39;re building toward for the next generation.We&#39;re starting with two programs, built to run side by side from day one: Full-Time Hifz Program &mdash; daily, full-time Qur&#39;an memorization under close, consistent instructionIjazah &amp; Sanad Program &mdash; for students who&#39;ve completed memorization and are ready to earn a real, authorized chain of transmission, not just a certificate As Mizmaar grows, this is only the beginning.
