Found living in the bushes off the highway 💔 Meet Little Bo Peep! This sweet little girl was rescued from the bushes along the side of a highway near some restaurant dumpsters near Lombard. Several people had spotted her in the area, and thankfully, she was able to be trapped and brought to safety. It's such a dangerous place for a cat, and I'm so glad she's no longer out there! This upcoming week, she'll be visiting Fox Valley Animal Welfare League for her spay surgery, vaccines, microchip, SNAP test, flea/tick/worm treatment, and basic bloodwork to make sure everything looks good. Her estimated vet bill is $300 so I'm hoping to raise enough to cover her care. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much! If you're unable to donate, sharing this post is also a huge help. :) Once Little Bo Peep has received her vet care and is all recovered, she'll be looking for a loving forever home where she can live the safe, happy life she deserves. ❤️ Donations can be made through this Zeffy fundraiser or via Zelle:Montana's Little Cat Rescue Zelle tag: montanaslittlecatrescue Thank you so much for helping us give Little Bo Peep a second chance! 🐾

🐾 Help Us Build the Safe Haven Where Thousands of Second Chances Begin 🤎Every great rescue story starts with one life saved. We are building a place where thousands more will have the chance to begin again. Montana's StoryMontana's Little Cat Rescue was inspired by Montana, a 15-year-old super senior cat whose future was almost stolen before she ever had the chance to know love. Her situation was heartbreaking. She was just days away from euthanasia at an out-of-state shelter, with very little hope of survival. But Montana was given a chance, and she became a miracle.Against all odds, Montana surpassed every expectation and continues to live her best life in her forever home. Her story is a reminder that age, medical challenges, and a difficult past do not determine a cat's worth. Montana's second chance became the reason our rescue exists. Our MissionToday, Montana's Little Cat Rescue is dedicated to giving hope, healing, and second chances to the cats most often forgotten:

🐱 Senior cats

🩺 Hospice cats

❤️ Medically fragile cats

🏚️ Abandoned and neglected cats

🐾 Cats considered "too old," "too sick," "too expensive," or "too difficult" to save

We believe no cat should be discarded because they need more time, more care, or more compassion.Every cat deserves the chance to feel safe, experience love, and know what it means to have a life worth living.
