Renovate Chewelah Court CenterAn important part of NEWPA’s mission is to support projects that improve pickleball facilities open to the public. Poor court conditions create unfair playing conditions; detract from enjoyment of the game, and can increase the risk of injury. That’s why there was great excitement when the Chewelah Golf and Country Club announced the renovation of the Chewelah Court Center. The project will restore all court surfaces, and one former tennis court will be converted into a hybrid tennis/pickleball court. This represents a significant financial commitment to the sports of tennis and pickleball in the Chewelah area.To support this effort, NEWPA is raising money to help the Chewelah Golf and Country Club, a nonprofit organization, offset the high cost of current and future court maintenance. All funds raised are dedicated to the maintenance and improvement of the Chewelah Court Center.Thank you for supporting the NEWPA mission and enriching everyone’s pickleball experience at the Chewelah Court Center.
