CONTEXTThe Government&rsquo;s <a fr-original-style="" href="https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/6899fd053080e72710b2e370/Tackling_Child_Sexual_Abuse_-_Progress_Update_-_FINAL_FOR_PUBLICATION.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Tackling Child Sexual Abuse Progress Update</a>, April 2025, identifies how the scale of child sexual abuse is truly staggering as children make up only 20% of the population but are the victims of 40% of all sexual offences.The Government&rsquo;s Tackling child sexual abuse strategy (Feb 2021) emphasises the need for everyone to play their part &ldquo;&hellip;across all agencies, all sectors, charities, communities, technology companies and society more widely&rdquo;. On completion of the course each person will be awarded a CPD Certificate in Child sexual exploitation awareness and a Resource pack.
