Every Child Has Rights. Every Child Belongs. On November 20, Children's Day of Peace will bring children, elders, schools, families, and communities together around the world to celebrate peace, creativity, belonging, and the unique gifts of every child. The Global Grandmothers' Council Network (GGCN) is joining this growing movement as a voice of wisdom, encouragement, and intergenerational care. We believe one of the most powerful things a Grandmother can say to a child is:I see you.Your gifts matter. You belong.Help Us Celebrate Young PeacebuildersThrough this campaign, GGCN is raising funds for Children's Peace Prizes that recognize and encourage children whose creativity, compassion, courage, service, wisdom, and everyday actions help create a more peaceful world. Our Grandmothers are also being invited to take action in their own communities—walking with children, creating intergenerational gatherings, sharing stories, making art and music, planting gardens, serving their communities, and finding their own meaningful ways to stand beside the children.Your gift helps us turn encouragement into action.Together, Grandmothers Can:HONOR children's gifts through Children's Peace Prizes.ENCOURAGE young people who are creating kindness, belonging, and peace.CONNECT elders and children across generations.INSPIRE Grandmothers to take peace-building action in their own communities.PASS PEACE FORWARD from one generation to the next.Whether you give $10, $25, $50, $100, or more, your contribution becomes part of a collective message to children everywhere:We see you. We believe in you. We are walking beside you. This Is More Than One DayNovember 20 is our global celebration, but peace is something we practice every day.Our hope is to help establish an enduring tradition in which Grandmothers recognize the gifts of children, children discover their capacity to create peace, and one generation passes that responsibility—and that hope—to the next.Every Child Has Gifts.Every Child Has Rights.Every Child Belongs. And together...We Belong.
