People on Purpose Inc. empowers local businesses in Central New York by providing strategic HR support, fostering job creation, and enhancing community stability. Their mission is to strengthen the helpers who feed, house, and heal their neighbors.

Join the Movement to Build a More Supported Small Business Community. What if the biggest challenge facing our local small businesses—people support—didn’t have to be faced alone? On May 6, People on Purpose Inc. (POPI) is taking over Maydan Cafe for an intimate, mission-driven brunch. We are bringing together Central New York’s most engaged business leaders, community funders, and mission-driven organizations to answer one critical question: "What kind of people support would make the biggest difference for small businesses in our region, right now?" This isn’t your typical networking event. It’s a community-backed building phase. Your ticket doesn’t just get you a seat; it gives you a voice in shaping a new model of accessible HR and leadership support for the teams that power our region. What to Expect:• A casual, high-vibe morning at one of Baldwinsville’s favorites. Your ticket includes a hot-pressed Maydan breakfast wrap, coffee, tea, and our exclusive POPI Specialty Smoothie. • Candid Conversation: Meet the POPI Board, hear our early impact goals, and join an open Q&A where your insights help direct our mission. • The Impact Moment: This event is the fuel for our client partnerships. Together, we’ll raise the funds needed to bring professional leadership and workforce support to a local mission-driven business that needs it most. • A Month of Impact: Can’t wait for the 6th? Our collaboration with Maydan runs all through May for Mental Health Awareness Month. Stop in any time to try the "POPI Smoothie"—nourishing, grounding, and $1 from every purchase goes directly to our community fund. Space is intentionally limited to keep the conversation intimate and actionable. Every ticket purchased and every donation made directly funds accessible HR and leadership strategy for Central New York’s mission-driven workforce.
