FOR THE LOVE OF CINEMA + CINÉMA L'AMOURProjections L.A.M. is a non-profit organization that raises funds to put to put directly back into Cinéma L'Amour, in order to restore and maintain the iconic 100+ year old theatre built in 1914. We do this primarily through our monthly midnight screening series l'Amour à minuit, where we play films that are reminiscent of grind house cinema, midnight movies, and vintage erotica.A few of our current goals:- Fix the iconic yellow marquee that lights up the main- Restore the original ornamental plaster around the screen and the balconies inside the theatre- Improve the audio + visual quality in the theatre- Update the carpet and floor in the theatre- Update the lobby (though maintain its charm)- and many more!Your donation means the world to our mission, and we are eternally grateful.Long live Cinéma L'Amour!
