Join Rangeley Wild on Friday, July 31, at Evergreen Golf Club for a fun-filled nine-hole golf scramble benefiting our mission to build a wildlife rehabilitation and education facility for western Maine. This is not your typical golf tournament. Expect friendly competition, creative hole challenges, contests, raffles, prizes, live music, great food, and plenty of surprises along the way.&nbsp; Golfers of all experience levels are welcome&mdash;whether you play every weekend or are mostly coming for the fun! Kids under 12 eat free! *with golfer registration Event Timeline 1:30 p.m. &mdash; Registration and Check-In Arrive early to check in, have some tasty appetizers, receive your event materials, drink ticket and T-shirt, purchase raffle tickets, meet the other golfers and get ready for the afternoon. Practice your putting at our &quot;Clink for the Drink&quot; Challenge.2:45 p.m. &mdash; Welcome and Tournament Instructions We will review the scramble format, course rules, contests, games and safety information before teams head to their starting holes.3:00 p.m. &mdash; Shotgun Start All teams begin at the same time on assigned holes for nine holes of scramble-style play.Throughout the course, golfers can take part in special contests and games, including closest-to-the-pin, longest drive and our &ldquo;Clink for the Drink&rdquo; Challenge, along with other WILD surprises being planned.Approximately 5:30&ndash;6:00 p.m. &mdash; Golf Concludes Teams return to the clubhouse and turn in their scorecards.6:00 p.m. &mdash; Dinner, Social Hour and Live Music Relax after your round and enjoy dinner, music and time with fellow golfers and Rangeley Wild supporters.6:30&ndash;7:30 p.m. &mdash; Awards, Raffles and Prizes We will recognize the tournament winners, announce contest champions and draw raffle prizes. Times following the shotgun start are approximate and may shift slightly depending on the pace of play. How the Scramble WorksEach golfer on the team hits a shot. The team chooses the best shot, and everyone plays their next ball from that location. This continues until the ball is in the hole. The format keeps the game moving and makes the tournament enjoyable for experienced golfers and beginners alike.Come for the golf, stay for the food, music and wild fun&mdash;and help Rangeley Wild create a place where Maine wildlife can receive the care when needed and and community education space to learn about the animals we all love!
