The Rape and Suicide Crisis Center provides support and resources for survivors of sexual assault and suicide, aiming to empower individuals through advocacy, counseling, and education to foster healing and prevent future crises.

Light the Night for Hope honors survivors and remembers those lost, while supporting the Rape and Suicide Crisis Center&rsquo;s mission of compassionate care, crisis intervention, and prevention education. The event is dedicated to honoring lives lost to suicide, supporting survivors, and raising awareness about the importance of mental health and suicide prevention. Funds raised help provide crisis support, suicide prevention education, outreach programs, and resources for individuals and families throughout Southeast Texas. For 52 years, the Crisis Center has served our region with compassionate care and life-saving services. Today, we remain the only agency in Southeast Texas specifically providing support and resources for individuals experiencing suicidal ideation and families impacted by suicide. Because of compassionate community partners like you, we can continue providing hope, education, support, and healing to those who need it most. All donations are tax-deductible.
