The Point Roberts Makers Guild is a community-led and cooperatively governed effort to grow the creative economy in Point Roberts. At launch, our two primary programs are the 5 Mile Sq Studio Store and the Community Room. As a brand new organization, we are in the learning-by-doing process, and have 3 tier membership structure to get our project launch. That being said, we anticipate iterations and changes as we learn from our first season and bring more members into the leadership and governance of the organization. Tier 3 (Supporting) Memberships are open to all adults (youth memberships coming soon!). Participation as a Working Member (Tier 2) or Selling Member (Tier 1) is by application. The Point Roberts Makers Guild is a community-driven, cooperatively-operated nonprofit bringing together local artisans, hobbyists, and makers to support a thriving creative economy on the Point. More than just a store or workshop, we're building a space where people can learn by doing, share skills, spark new ideas, and find community — the kind of place where curiosity is celebrated and neighbors become collaborators.
