This meticulous work was recently honored with a Preservation Connecticut Award and is also helping inform our new documentary about the Battle of Ridgefield that will serve as an important educational resource.● Hands-on learning for students, including programs at the Peter Parley Schoolhouse, our participation with local middle schools in the Witness Stones Project and Indigenous history programming, and internship opportunities for high school students.● The thoughtful restoration of the 1872 Branchville Schoolhouse, helping to save and renew one of only two intact one-room schoolhouses remaining in Ridgefield.● Documenting how our town changed in the 20th century, including identifying and celebrating midcentury influences and architecture through our Mad for Modern initiative.● Preserving Ridgefield’s stories for future generations by recording oral histories, digitizing historical documents, and continuing to care for and grow our collection of more than 10,000 Ridgefield artifacts.● And much more.
