Their vision was to create exhibits, host talks, and offer history tours to keep the stories of the Sherman area alive; including Sherman, Sherman Station, Benedicta, Silver Ridge, and Stacyville.We were generously gifted The Red House by Mr. Richard Bonner in memory of his mother, Esther Bonner. This extraordinary gift has given us the opportunity to dream bigger and begin creating a permanent home for preserving and sharing our community’s history. As a member, you’ll receive updates on projects, invitations to programs, and opportunities to take part in preserving our shared heritage. Thank you for helping ensure the history of the Sherman Area remains accessible for generations to come.Sherman Area Historical Society is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
