LXCL:SCB celebrates nature connection, folk crafts and traditional healing arts. We find nature connection practices and the folk skills of our ancestors lead to the same place-a soulful and courageous life of meaning that is of service to people and the earth.&nbsp;We are a vibrant, all-inclusive, intergenerational community embracing lifelong learning, nature, and living from the heart because these things cultivate a deep sense of belonging and give great purpose to our lives.

Bring your well-loved blades back to life with a hands-on home sharpening session led by craftsman Brett Morse. Learn simple, effective techniques to care for kitchen knives, pruning tools, and more 🔪. Hosted by Soulcraft Bloomington, this event supports our work of reconnecting people with practical folk skills. We have a sliding scale of $100-$130 per child.&nbsp;We offer the sliding scale as a means of allowing you to self-scholarship, as needed. We leave it entirely up to you to select your point on the scale, and ask you to recognize that the true cost of running the program is approximately in the middle. We count on your integrity in selecting your rate: when you choose a higher amount, you are making it possible for someone of lesser means to pay a lower tuition. In this way, we are working together to help keep the program affordable. Soulcraft Kids Fall Break 2 Day Adventure Camp

Wilderness Quest is a combination of guided and solo time at the edge of the wild and the inner life&mdash;held in the woods with story, ceremony, and simple practices of attention. Together we listen to wind, water, and our own questions. A quest can look many different ways for different people- some sit in the forest with the trees, some choose to interact with fire, some fast, some eat and drink. All the options will be discussed so you can choose the best one for you. Rooted in Soulcraft Bloomington&rsquo;s forest and folk school traditions, this gathering invites you to slow down, share food and fire, learn from the land, and renew your commitment to a soulful, courageous life in service to people and earth. 🌲🔥

Wilderness Quest

Water Ritual for Grief is a gentle, guided ritual held outdoors, where we let go of our sorrows, anger, frustrations and more in the presence of running water, living nature, and one another. Through song, story, and supported space, we lean on the old ways of tending grief together. You&rsquo;re invited to bring whatever heaviness you hold and let the water carry it away- amplifying peace, reconciliation, and gratitude. This gathering reflects Soulcraft Bloomington&rsquo;s roots in nature connection and traditional healing arts.
