Help Us Support Sunshine Rescue MissionWe are Bachelor-level Social Work students in Professor Jill Navran’s SW423 class, and we’re excited to partner with Sunshine Rescue Mission to make a meaningful impact in our community. As part of our class project, our goal is to raise $500 for Sunshine Rescue Mission through monetary donations. The funds raised from this campaign will be used where it’s needed most at The Mission. Why We Chose The MissionWe chose to support The Mission because we want to help meet the real, current needs of people in our community. Our fundraising goal will help provide resources where they are needed most at The Mission. How You Can HelpYour donation, no matter the amount, helps us work toward our $500 class goal and supports Sunshine Rescue Mission’s mission of providing hope, dignity, and practical assistance to those in need.$10, $25, $50, or any amount you’re able to give makes a difference.Thank you for supporting our Social Work class project and, most importantly, the individuals served by Sunshine Rescue Mission. Hello friends, family, and community members, We are a group of five senior undergraduate social work students in SW 423 who are collaborating with The Mission in Flagstaff, Arizona. As future social workers, we are learning about the importance of community-based support, advocacy, dignity, and working alongside nonprofit organizations that provide essential services to people in need. For our class collaboration, we are raising funds to support the continued work of The Mission. Our goal is to raise $500. The Mission provides recovery-focused shelter and support for men seeking a path out of homelessness. The Mission also provides a supportive community for men experiencing homelessness who are seeking a path toward stability and lasting change. As social work students, we recognize that homelessness is not simply about lacking housing. It is connected to barriers such as poverty, trauma, health challenges, family separation, unemployment, and limited access to supportive resources. Supporting organizations like The Mission is one way our community can help create safety, stability, hope, and opportunities for individuals and families to move forward. No donation is too small. Whether you are able to give $5, $10, $25, or more, your support will contribute to our goal and help uplift community members experiencing housing insecurity in Flagstaff. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing our fundraiser with your friends, family, classmates, coworkers, and social media community. Thank you for supporting our SW 423 class project and for standing with The Mission. Together, we can help support continued care, recovery, and hope in our Flagstaff community. This fundraiser is organized by five Northern Arizona University senior social work students enrolled in SW 423. We are raising up to $500 in support of The Mission. Our SW 423 group has a goal of inspiring $500 in community support for The Mission. With gratitude,SW 423 Senior Social Work Students
Northern Arizona University
