The Tamayo Perry Foundation connects local youth to the ocean through swim safety, surf mentorship, and community support, honoring Tamayo's legacy of fostering a love and respect for the ocean while ensuring children can swim safely.

Join us as we honor lifeguards and celebrate Tamayo&rsquo;s birthday at the Center of Radical Education / Surf Museum in Waialua Sugar Mill. We&rsquo;ll have live music from New Salts and 808 Imposters, food trucks, Nalu Films footage on the outdoor screen, donated photo prints and stickers for sale. Donations from the event will go to three lifeguards whose homes were severly impacted by the recent flooding.&nbsp; Please RSVP&nbsp;using either the suggested donation or free option. Honoring Lifeguards + Tamayo's Birthday

The Tamayo Perry Foundation is excited to invite you to our launch fundraiser! Your $25 ticket ensures access to the event at Haleiwa Distilling Company and pupus from Private Dining Hawaii. Please consider adding a donation to help us get the foundation off to a great start. We are gathering to bring together friends and community members who want to carry forward Tamayo&rsquo;s legacy. This event begins our shared effort to connect local youth to the ocean through swim, safety, surf, mentorship, and aloha while building support to turn that mission into lasting programs. Your donation will help us pay for general operating costs, local youth program&nbsp;awards, and for future Learn to Swim programs.&nbsp; We will also be hosting a silent auction which will open on March 4th an 8:00 PM and end on March 5th at 8:00 PM. &nbsp;Two of Tamayo&rsquo;s surfboards will be available to the highest bidders. The winners of the silent auction will be announced before the fundraiser ends, so the winners can leave with their boards. You do not have to be present to bid or pick-up the board at the event, but you are responsible coordinating and covering any shipping costs. It was Tamayo&rsquo;s dream to teach kids to love and respect the ocean and the first step is ensuring they can swim. Please come support us in getting this initiative off the ground!
