TAPIstry Beauty and Arts Expo

Welcome to “TAPIstry Unveiled ” 🎨—a gathering that brings together artists, students, and beauty professionals to share the many threads of our creative community.ClassesBrooke LeMastersColor with PurposeEvery placement tells a story. Every formula serves a purpose. This class goes beyond the "how" of hair color to explore the "why." Brooke shares the thought process behind intentional placement, color theory, and technique, helping stylists create work that feels customized, refined, and uniquely their own.Presented in partnership with YOOR Professional, this class combines artistic vision with practical application, giving stylists a framework they can immediately apply behind the chair to create more intentional, personalized color.Stacey PrescottCURLtelligence™ FoundationsWhy Great Curl Results Shouldn’t Feel Like LuckIf you’ve ever followed every step, used the right products, and still ended up with inconsistent curl results, this class was designed for you. Most curl education teaches what to do.This class teaches you why it works. In this engaging, science-based session, Stacey Solum Prescott introduces the foundational principles behind CURLtelligence™, an evidence-based framework that explains how natural curls actually behave. You’ll discover why two clients with similar-looking curls can require completely different approaches, why product recommendations often fail, and why technique alone can never create consistently predictable results.Without overwhelming you with chemistry or complex terminology, Stacey translates the science of curl behavior into practical knowledge you can immediately apply behind the chair. You’ll leave with a new way of thinking about moisture, frizz, definition, product selection, and curl performance that will transform how you assess every curly-haired client.Whether you’re new to curls or have been working with textured hair for years, this class will challenge assumptions, answer questions you’ve probably been asking for years, and give you the confidence to make better decisions based on understanding instead of trial and error. When you understand why curls behave the way they do, every product choice, every technique, and every result become more intentional.Because the future of curl education isn’t memorizing another method. It’s understanding the science behind the hair.Taylor Jameson Watch Taylor Jameson create a customized haircut in real time. Follow her entire process—from consultation and shape analysis to cutting, texturizing, and finishing. Discover the art of razor cutting as Taylor shares when and why she reaches for a razor versus shears, how each tool creates a different result, and how to use both intentionally to build shape, movement, softness, and texture. Ask questions, make suggestions, and learn what, where, why, and when behind every decision while mastering techniques, you can immediately apply behind the chair. Real client. Real consultation. Real-time creativity. Real salon results.
