Donations to the George Wetzel Memorial Scholarship will help a graduating Field High School senior take their next step in life while honoring the qualities George demonstrated every day — kindness, dedication, perseverance, leadership, service, and a willingness to go the extra mile for others.Every donation, no matter the amount, helps turn George’s lifetime of impact into something that will continue year after year. This scholarship is more than financial assistance. It is a way to say that the way George lived mattered. It is a way to remind future Falcons that kindness matters, showing up matters, helping others matters, and making a difference in someone’s life matters. And it is a way for all of us to carry a little piece of George forward.
