The Road Ahead CampaignEvery day, The Branches Outreach is on the move. From recovering donated food to delivering groceries, transporting essential supplies, and bringing services directly into the community, our work depends on getting where people need us most. Last year alone, The Branches Outreach welcomed more than 9,200 visits to our Day Center, served over 11,000 warm meals, distributed nearly 5,000 pantry allocations, and provided hundreds of case management and advocacy services to neighbors across Cape May County. As the need across Cape May County continues to grow, so does the demand on our outreach vehicle. We're raising funds to purchase and outfit a dedicated outreach van that will allow us to expand food recovery efforts, strengthen our mobile pantry, support outreach initiatives, and serve more neighbors across Cape May County. A dedicated outreach van will help us recover more donated food, reach underserved communities, and respond more effectively to the growing needs of our neighbors—ensuring we're ready to serve wherever we're needed most. This campaign isn't about buying a van. It's about making sure we can continue showing up—for families facing food insecurity, for individuals working toward stability, and for every neighbor who turns to The Branches Outreach for support. If you believe everyone deserves access to food, resources, and compassionate care, we invite you to be part of The Road Ahead. Together, we can keep our community moving forward.

Together, we can make sure every neighbor in Cape May County has a warm meal and a full plate this winter. At The Branches Outreach, we believe no one in Cape May County should go hungry — especially as families face rising living costs and uncertainty around federal support programs like SNAP, WIC, and Medicaid. This fall and winter, we expect to see even more neighbors turning to us for help. Federal officials have warned that November SNAP benefits may not be issued if the government shutdown continues — and even after the shutdown ends, many households will still face reduced benefits, stricter eligibility rules, or delayed assistance.Through our Warm Hearts, Full Plates campaign, we are preparing now to meet the need. Your generosity will help us:🍽️ Provide nutritious meals to individuals, seniors, and families 🚐 Fuel our mobile pantry serving the Villas, Woodbine & Rio Grande ❤️ Offer dignity, warmth, and support when families need it most 🥫 Keep shelves stocked with pantry staples and fresh foodEvery dollar stays local and directly helps people right here in our community.

$5 = 1 meal

$25 helps feed 5 people

$50 provides 10 meals

$100 provides 20 meals

Together, we can make sure plates — and hearts — stay full. When Life HappensWhen life takes an unexpected turn, it can be hard to ask for help. A missed paycheck, a medical emergency, an eviction notice, a broken-down car, or the opportunity to enter recovery can quickly become a crisis. At The Branches Outreach, we never want money to be the reason we have to say yes or no.Our Emergency Fund gives us the flexibility to respond when someone needs help right now—not weeks later. These unrestricted funds allow us to provide practical assistance such as transportation to work or medical appointments, replacement IDs and birth certificates, emergency motel stays, first-month sober living costs, rental or utility assistance, food, and other urgent needs that help people remain safe, stable, and moving forward.Every gift, no matter the amount, helps us meet people where they are with compassion, dignity, and hope.Thank you for standing with your neighbors and helping us say "yes" when it matters most. ❤️
