LXCL:The Church of The Open Door's vision is to be a community radically committed to spiritual formation for the sake of others. Our mission is to invite people into the struggle of becoming fully alive in God.

Hello Friends,I&rsquo;m approaching the milestone of turning 50 on October 1st and am planning to mark the occasion with what I believe will be a meaningful venture. My church, Open Door, is currently building a Sacred Settlement on church land &ndash; twelve tiny homes and a common area built to create a permanent community for those coming out of chronic homelessness. To raise funds and awareness for this beautiful mission, I plan on walking 50 miles in 2 days on October 1 and 2. I am inviting you to join me in supporting the life-changing vision of the Sacred Settlement by making a donation to my walk.&nbsp; Whatever you can contribute will be an important step towards my goal of $5,000! Ben Monseth's 50 Mile Birthday Fundraiser

Join us in supporting Open Door&rsquo;s Sacred Settlement! Our church is planting a Sacred Settlement on our land&mdash;twelve tiny homes and a common house designed to create a permanent community for those coming out of chronic homelessness. This community will be a homestead of healing for the people who live there, as well as for our church family and neighborhood. Your partnership&mdash;whether by running or walking the 5K or joining the ZeroK hangout&mdash;will help bring this beautiful vision to life as we work toward our funding goal and hope to launch the community by the summer of 2027. Costumes are optional and encouraged.
