The Guide Association Derbyshire

The Guide Association Derbyshire empowers girls and young women through engaging activities, fostering leadership, confidence, and community spirit. They provide a supportive environment for personal growth and development, encouraging lifelong friendships.

For volunteers that require Module 1, 2 &amp; 3 - F2F training Trainees must complete e - learning First Aid on the Learning platform prior to the course 16 to 18-year-olds - Must bring a signed consent form as well as an adjustment form if they have a condition. This includes Young Leaders, DofE volunteers and Rangers. (No under 16 year olds) A maximum of two volunteers from the same unit may attend any one 1st Response course. (Please bear in mind, however, that it is helpful if your 1st Response does not all run out at the same time! It may be better to attend courses at different times) Modules 1, 2 &amp; 3 - 9.30am start and aim to finish at 16:15pm Participants will need the following and any PPE you may feel you require:&bull; Pen and notepad&bull; A blanket- optional&bull; A packed lunch&bull; Drinks will be provided Please wear uniform if you have it (trousers/jeans or similar as you will need to work close to the floor at times) The cost to attend is &pound;6.00 per person which can be claimed as a unit expense Once you have booked you will receive an email confirmation Please notify the county office via email - office@girlguidingderbyshire.org if you should need to cancel as there is often a waiting list for these courses and someone else can be offered your place, if you cancel your &pound;6.00 deposit is non-refundable unless we are able to fill your place.

Leaders Social Weekend 🎉 is a chance to meet other leaders and have fun together. There are 3 options:Stay 1 night (Friday)&nbsp; &pound;15.00Stay 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) &pound;25.00Saturday day time only&nbsp; &pound;5.00 The cost covers food and accommodation. There will be a Zoom call Monday 23 March to finalise the plans but they are likely to be a walk on Saturday with a meal out Saturday evening. Tis event is for a maximum of 24 people. Please use this form to tell us your details, accessibility needs, and any preferences. Your responses help us plan a relaxed, welcoming space where every leader can take part with confidence. 💜

Girlguiding Derbyshire County Water Activities Camp is a weekend on the water for Guides 🚣&zwj;♀️. Girls can try new activities, build confidence, and enjoy being outdoors with friends. This exciting weekend will give Guides the chance to take part in a range of water-based activities, supported by qualified instructors, while enjoying a fun and adventurous camp experience with members from across the county🌊. Cost: &pound;65.00 per Guide, &pound;20 per leader Places: Units may take up to six Guide places&nbsp;with one accompanying leader (further spaces may be available depending upon bookings) Deadline: Bookings and full payment must be received by Friday 27th March 2026 12pm Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.
