PALSHIELD is a community-based initiative focused on protective presence, emergency readiness, and civilian safety for Palestinian communities facing escalating violence and infrastructure neglect. Our work centers on at-risk towns and villages in the West Bank, where residents regularly face settler attacks, military incursions, restricted emergency access, and delayed medical response. Join us at Radical Bean Cooperative featuring original canvases by Palestinian youth and artists from Chicago's Jerusalem Academy of the Arts, along with digital prints from Bab Al Deir Gallery in Bethlehem. This gallery is a living testimony of resilience, defiance, and memory. The works on display speak to the reality of life under occupation, the struggle for dignity, and the unbreakable bond between Palestinians in the homeland and diaspora. All proceeds from art sales will directly support:PALSHIELD’s work providing medical kits, fire extinguishers, protective gear, and early-warning tools to farming communities under attack in the West Bank.JAA’s programs that give Palestinian youth access to arts education, cultural preservation, and opportunities to share their stories with the world. As violence and land seizures continue to escalate in the West Bank — with over 24,000 dunams of land confiscated since last year and attacks on farmers at record levels — these efforts are urgent and lifesaving.Come stand with us, witness the art, and leave with something that carries this story forward.📍 Location: Radical Bean Cooperative, 123 E McMicken Ave, Cincinnati, OH📅 Date & Time: July 24th, 5:30p - 7:30pOur heartfelt thanks to Radical Bean Cooperative for opening their space and standing with us.
