Virtual SEATED Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention (TCAFP) taught by Certified TCAFP instructors Seated Tai Chi is the adapted version of Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention About this EventCome join us for our first UIHC sponsored SEATED Tai Chi for the Arthritis and Fall Prevention program which will be held 2 days a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, from 9:30-10:30 AM for 8 weeks. These classes are held online via the University of Iowa Zoom platform. You do not have to be affiliated with the University of Iowa to participate. These programs have been shown to: &bull; Improve physical condition, muscle strength, coordination, and flexibility &bull; Provide low-impact, weight-bearing, aerobic exercise &bull; Improve balance and decrease the risk for falls &bull; Ease pain and stiffness &bull; Improve sleep &bull; Increase overall wellness PLEASE READ: If you register for this class, a Navigator from the Iowa Community HUB will be contacting you on behalf of UI Health Care Trauma Program to collect a pre-class survey (Demographics, Social Determinants of Health, etc.).
