The Gardeners as Teachers Program is back with Project Lead, Brittaney Robinson! We’re excited to bring even more sessions this year centered around herbs, gardening, agriculture, ancestral knowledge, and the deep connections between healing, land, and community.This year’s theme is: “Where You Stand, Medicine Grows: Building a Home Apothecary from the Herbs Around You.”

🌰 $10 – Plant the Seed: Helps provide seeds, soil, and other basic gardening supplies, plus snacks for volunteers who support our work at the Catawba Trail Farm.💧 $50 – Help It Grow: Supports hands-on garden maintenance and harvest efforts, including bed preparation, weeding, watering, and harvesting fresh produce for community distribution.🌿 $100 – Strengthen the Roots: Supports youth and community education through YouthCan and the Land & Legacy Reentry Program, providing tools, materials, and resources that create meaningful learning and workforce opportunities.🌳 $300 – Tend the Land: Helps fund large-scale land maintenance, infrastructure improvements, and expanded growing areas - allowing us to grow more food and serve more community members.🌻 $500+ – Harvest the Future: Makes a significant investment in UCAN’s mission by helping eliminate food insecurity and strengthen food access, while supporting program growth, reentry initiatives, and long-term sustainability.Your willingness to support UCAN means the world to us!
