We Are Family

We Are Family empowers LGBTQ+ youth in South Carolina by creating safe spaces, providing affirming care, and fostering real opportunities for connection and growth. Events like Queer Youth Prom and Queer Adult Prom celebrate identity and community.

This isn’t just a prom—it’s a second chance to experience it the way it should have been. A night to show up fully, be seen, and celebrate without limits. Step back in time with a Totally ’80s night—lace up those kicks, tease that hair sky-high, and bust a move under the disco ball while the bangers keep blasting. From interactive experiences (DIY Lip Care Bar, portraits by DEVA, and more) to unforgettable photo moments, this is your chance to create the prom experience you deserve. And just when you think it can’t get any more iconic—enjoy a special performance by Laganja Estranja from RuPaul’s Drag Race! As an official Park Circle Pride event, this night is bigger than a party. Every ticket supports We Are Family’s work with LGBTQ+ youth across South Carolina—helping create safe spaces, affirming care, and real opportunity. What are you waiting for? This is going to be a totally tubular, epic prom! Get down on the most bodacious night of the year! Whether you roll in with your crew or show up solo, you belong here.
