Join We Sisters Network for a powerful dual-impact event honoring Autism Awareness Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.From celebrating youth with autism and their families to empowering women with life-saving self-defense skills, this event is designed to uplift, educate, and protect our community. &nbsp;Featuring vendors, resources, testimonials, games, giveaways, and hands-on training.4p-5:30p | Celebration of Autism FamiliesThis experience is designed specifically for youth with autism and their families, creating a safe, joyful, and supportive space for connection, celebration, and community.What to Expect:&bull; Autism Sheroes Testimonials (mothers, caregivers, and advocates)&bull; Family-centered activities, games &amp; fun&bull; Vendors offering autism resources &amp; support services&bull; Giveaways &amp; prizes for youth&bull; A welcoming, inclusive environment for all families 6p-8p | Self Defense Workshop for Women:Take your power back and learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones 💪🏾Join us for a Self-Defense Class for Women in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This session is designed to equip women with practical, real-life safety techniques for everyday situations. What You&rsquo;ll Learn:&bull; Instructor-led self-defense techniques&bull; How to protect yourself in different environments (parking lots, walking alone, etc.)&bull; Awareness, prevention, and response strategies&bull; How to respond confidently in unsafe situations This experience is about empowerment, preparation, and protection&mdash;because while women are vulnerable, we are also powerful.- Admission:&bull; Members: $20&bull; Community Guests: $25- Dress Code: All black fitness attire + gym shoes- Address provided upon registration⚠️&nbsp;- No registration = No entry

Sexual Assault & Autism Awareness Month Event

The We Sisters Network is excited to invite all women to join us for &ldquo;SHE Deserves FUN: A Celebration of Women&rsquo;s History.&rdquo;&nbsp; This special gathering is a time for women from all backgrounds to come together in sisterhood, laughter, music, and celebration. As we honor Women&rsquo;s History Month, we will uplift one another, build meaningful connections, and celebrate the strength, resilience, and beauty of women everywhere. Join us March 21 from 3PM&ndash;6PM at The Pink Room in Hazel Crest for an afternoon of karaoke, music, connection, and fun. Whether you come with friends or come ready to meet new sisters, you are welcome here. Wear pink or white, bring your positive energy, and come ready to celebrate the power of women together. All women are welcome. Admission is $20 for non-members, and we can&rsquo;t wait to celebrate with you!💗 We empower. We protect. We sisters. We united.

Join We United Southland for a fun and festive community event where creativity, laughter, and connection come together! At our &ldquo;Make Your Own Luck&rdquo; celebration, participants will enjoy a hands-on experience creating their own St. Patrick&rsquo;s Day themed crafts while spending quality time with friends, family, and community members. This event is designed to bring people together in a joyful environment that encourages creativity, bonding, and positive community engagement. What to Expect:- Fun DIY craft activities for participants to create their own lucky keepsakes- Womens history bingo for kids- Light refreshments and festive St. Patrick&rsquo;s Day vibes&bull; A special &ldquo;Guess the Number of Coins&rdquo; game &mdash; the closest guess wins a prize! Whether you&rsquo;re coming with your children, friends, or just looking for a fun community experience, this event is the perfect way to celebrate the spirit of luck, creativity, and togetherness. Make Your Own Luck: A Discovery of Women's History

We Sisters Network Monthly Membership brings women across the WORLD together virtually, to learn, share, and support one another as we tackle social, economic, and environmental challenges in our neighborhoods. As a monthly member, you help sustain workshops, community projects and events, provide resources to fellow members, and local advocacy that advance education, poverty alleviation, and environmental sustainability. We Meet or host event on the last Friday of each month: We Meet virtually Bi-Monthly | First Meeting&nbsp;We host Events in person and live stream on youtube channel Bi- Monthly Join us to stay connected, deepen your impact, grow your emotional intelligence, &nbsp;advance professionally, and stand with sisters committed to a stronger, more just Southland.

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The Southland Chicago Cheerettes &amp; Cheeros are raising funds to support our youth performers as we prepare for an exciting summer parade season, including the Fourth of July Parade and the historic Bud Billiken Parade. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Funds raised will help cover:- &nbsp;Majorette uniforms and performance gear- Fourth of July custom parade uniforms- Bud Billiken Parade entry fees&bull; Performer insurance- July programming and events- Transportation, snacks, and practice and parade-day expenses &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Each performer is encouraged to raise a minimum of $500. Families are welcome to exceed this goal, and all funds raised will be credited toward their performer&#39;s uniforms, gear, parade fees, and program-related expenses.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Our program provides youth with opportunities to develop leadership skills, discipline, teamwork, confidence, community pride, and performing arts excellence. Through cheer, dance, majorette, stepping, and community service, our participants are empowered to become positive leaders both on and off the field. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Thank you for investing in our youth and helping us create unforgettable experiences while building the next generation of leaders.
