Willow Domestic Violence Center empowers survivors of domestic violence through advocacy, support services, and community education, fostering safety, healing, and justice for individuals and families affected by abuse.

The Willow Classic: Drive for ChangeInspired by Julie Baker. Powered by community. Join us for a day on the course that does more than bring people together&mdash;it drives real change. After five extraordinary years, The Julie Baker Memorial Golf Tournament was meant to take its final bow. Julie&rsquo;s daughters&mdash;Claire, Paige, and Jill, lovingly known as The Baker Girls&mdash;honored their mom&rsquo;s legacy in a way that continues to ripple across our community, raising more than $300,000 to support survivors and life-saving services at Willow. Now, with deep gratitude and care, that legacy continues. The Willow Classic carries this beloved tradition forward&mdash;built on the foundation the Baker family created, and fueled by a shared commitment to safety, justice, healing, and hope. All proceeds benefit Willow Domestic Violence Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All contributions are tax deductible. Register below to join us on August 18. Spots are limited.

Walk with Courage. Walk with Kindness. Walk with Survivors. Walk BOLD.&nbsp; This year, we walk boldly.&nbsp;Boldness looks different for everyone. It&#39;s the survivor who makes the first call. The friend who says &quot;I believe you.&quot; The neighbor who finally speaks up. The community that refuses to look away. Domestic violence is everywhere, quiet and common, hidden in plain sight. It doesn&#39;t discriminate and it crosses all boundaries.&nbsp; In Monroe County, there are over 50,000 domestic dispute calls to 9-1-1 every year &mdash; a number that represents real people, real fear, and real courage it takes to reach out for help.&nbsp; That&#39;s why we walk-&nbsp;to raise awareness, raise critical funds, and ultimately lead the way to end domestic violence in our community.&nbsp; Walk With Willow is more than a walk, it&#39;s a movement. A chance to honor stories of strength and courage. A way to share your own story and find community. A space to show up for those on a path to safety, justice, healing and hope.&nbsp; On Saturday, October 17th we will gather at the Stories of Strength Mural to walk 1.3 miles through downtown Rochester. Along the way, we will honor survivors, and cover the streets in purple.&nbsp; Who do you walk for?&nbsp;Lead the way for them on October 17th!&nbsp; You can walk solo, form a team, or join one. Every dollar. Every step. Camina con valent&iacute;a.&nbsp; Este a&ntilde;o, caminamos con valent&iacute;a.&nbsp;La valent&iacute;a se ve diferente para cada persona. Es el sobreviviente que hace la primera llamada. El amigo que dice &quot;Te creo.&quot; El vecino que finalmente habla. La comunidad que se niega a mirar hacia otro lado. La violencia dom&eacute;stica est&aacute; en todas partes, silenciosa y com&uacute;n, oculta a simple vista. No discrimina y cruza todas las fronteras.&nbsp; En el Condado de Monroe, hay m&aacute;s de 50,000 llamadas de disputas dom&eacute;sticas al 9-1-1 cada a&ntilde;o &mdash; un n&uacute;mero que representa personas reales, miedo real y el coraje real que se necesita para pedir ayuda.&nbsp; Por eso caminamos-&nbsp;para crear conciencia, recaudar fondos cr&iacute;ticos y, en &uacute;ltima instancia, abrir el camino para poner fin a la violencia dom&eacute;stica en nuestra comunidad.&nbsp; Camina con Willow es m&aacute;s que una caminata, es un movimiento.
