LXCL:X10 Archery Academy exists to help young people find potential with the Art of Archery. We provide coaching, scholarships, youth programs, and community outreach that build focus, discipline, confidence, resilience, and leadership. Our ABC is simple: Archery Builds Character.

Help Us Match Our USA Archery Grant &mdash; and Keep Houston Archers Shooting We are honored to have received a $1,920 Ann Hoyt/Jim Easton JOAD Grant from USA Archery to help repair the targets at X10 Archery Academy. That grant will cover almost half the cost of replacing the badly worn front layer of foam across our indoor target wall. Now we need our community&#39;s help to finish the job. Our custom target system was built nearly ten years ago and contains 54 large blocks of high-density archery foam. Through years of heavy use, volunteer repairs, expanding foam, patching &mdash; and, lately, even cardboard across the front &mdash; we have stretched its lifespan as far as we possibly can. But our athletes still need somewhere safe and reliable to shoot. Our immediate goal is to replace the entire front layer: 18 new foam blocks, giving our targets the integrity they need to carry us through the 2026&ndash;27 indoor season. This is a bridge to something much bigger. X10 has applied for additional grant funding that would allow us to completely rebuild our target wall with new professional target systems in 2027. We hope to learn the outcome of that application in the New Year. Until then, we have to keep the arrows flying. Please consider helping us match the $1,920 USA Archery grant so we can complete this critical repair. Match a USA Archery JOAD Grant for Targets

X10 Archery Academy is proud to support para archer Candice Caesar, one of only two U.S. national team athletes in the Para Recurve Women division, as she continues her journey toward LA28. Candice is working to help the U.S. earn an additional Paralympic quota spot, and international competition in Peru is an important part of that pathway. To help her prepare and perform at her best, we are raising funds to send X10 Head Coach Kat Stiegel with her. Funds will help cover Kat&rsquo;s airfare, hotel, meals, local transportation, USA Archery and World Archery fees, credentials, and required team apparel. USA Archery covers its official staff and some athlete expenses, but Kat&rsquo;s costs are not funded. Your support will help ensure Candice has her home coach by her side as she competes internationally and works toward the opportunity to represent the U.S. at the 2028 Paralympic Games. Every contribution helps us support para athletes as they train, compete, and reach for the highest levels of the sport.

SHOOT YOUR WAY ACROSS TEXAS INDOORThis is a statewide &quot;league&quot; held primarily during the winter (November - February). Tournaments are hosted by various shops or clubs around the state. Any archer can compete in the events but you must be an NFAA/TFAA Member to compete for the SYWAT Aggregate/Tour Champion award. N.F.A.A. divisions and shooting styles will be in effect. SYWAT INDOOR - AGGREGATE/TOUR CHAMPION AWARDThis goes to the top-scoring shooter in their respective division and style for the SYWAT Indoor Season. Prior to each season, the TFAA Board will determine the number of SYWAT events required as a minimum to be eligible for the SYWAT Tour/Aggregate Award. This number of SYWAT events plus all or part of your TFAA State Indoor Championship scores will be added together to determine the SYWAT Aggregate/Tour Champion for each division and style. You can only win for one division and style. The Aggregate/Tour Champion award will be presented at the awards ceremony during the TFAA State Indoor Championship. SYWAT INDOOR - INDIVIDUAL AWARDSEach individual SYWAT event is its own tournament. Winners for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be recorded for individual award purposes. Individual awards will be created and made available for pick-up at the TFAA State Indoor Championship. The individual award is a single award listing the location and place for each individual event, where the individual actually placed. TFAA AWARDSTop 3 places in each division/style will receive an award regardless of the number of participants. SYWAT INDOOR TOUR REQUIREMENTS(combined perfect score 1200-240x)Best 3 scores from SYWAT Indoor events1st-day score from the TFAA State Indoor ChampionshipShoot as many SYWAT events as you wish, only your top scores will be used. You shoot the same location on the same weekend multiple times but only the highest score will count towards the SYWAT awards.Questions or comments??
