Chung Huong Institute is a nonsectarian Buddhist educational&nbsp;and contemplative organization dedicated to bridging authentic Buddhist wisdom with modern science.&nbsp; Through education, interdisciplinary research, contemplative practice,&nbsp;and compassionate service, we advance evidence-informed&nbsp;approaches to enhance well-being and holistic human flourishing.

In this peaceful mountain landscape, a permanent sanctuary for learning, practice, and community is within reach.We are inviting our community, our friends, and everyone who believes in the transformative power of wisdom and compassion to help make this vision a reality. We now need your help to make home a reality.Our current rental arrangement is coming to an end. Meanwhile, planning, permits, site preparation, and construction all require time and resources. This is a weekly class for women to have a safe space to practice Kripalu Yoga in a harmonious community.&nbsp; Kripalu Yoga is an invitation into inquiry, to participate fully with everything that life has to offer. It is an opportunity to step into the experiment of &nbsp;discovery. In this class, you link breath, movement, and pause to heighten body awareness and increase connection to yourself and to your heart, both on and off the mat. You will not only increase flexibility, strength, overall fitness and health, but you may as well experience more joy and a greater sense of being alive. Each session includes medation, prāṇāyāma (conscious breathing), āsana (physical postures), and develops gradually toward deeper practices with mudrā, bandha.&nbsp; Our instructor for these sessions is Ven. Women's Yoga: A Gentle Practice of Compassion

Get Rooted in Meditation &amp; Mindfulness is an invitation into your own heart. It&#39;s an opportunity to slow down, breathe with intention, reconnect with yourself, and practice in harmonious community. Chung Huong Institute classes are intentionally kept small for the purpose of deeper connection and personalized teachings. In this program, we will be drawing on the Four Foundations of Mindfulness (the very first mindfulness text written thousands of years ago). Join one session, several, or all for the maximum fruits.
