This program is for athletes committed to pushing their limits, mastering the fundamentals, and gaining the competitive edge needed to excel.

Louisiana Academy Baseball is proud to announce its 18U Summer Development Program, designed to prepare serious athletes for the next level of competition. Tournament schedule — Southern University (May 29–31), the I-10 East/West Championship (June 4–7), and back-to-back Baton Rouge Tournaments (June 11–14 and June 25–28) — giving players meaningful reps against high-level competition across a full summer slate. At $575 per player, the program delivers exceptional value, covering all tournament fees, full coaching and player development, and a structured curriculum built around skill development, mental performance, game IQ, and accountability. Fees are due by May 25 to secure a roster spot. This isn’t a recreational league — it’s a development-first environment built on discipline, competition, and intentional growth. If your son is serious about advancing his baseball career, Louisiana Academy is where that journey starts.

Congratulations, your child has been chosen to be a member of the Louisiana Youth Baseball’s Louisiana Lions Select Baseball Team. This team is selected based on your child’s participation in the Louisiana Youth Baseball league and the Louisiana Youth Baseball Academy workouts. The LYB Academy is a program, of Louisiana Youth Baseball, designed to raise the student athletes’ knowledge of the game of baseball. The teams are used to give additional opportunities to apply the knowledge learned in the LYB Academy’s sessions. If you and your child chose to participate as a member of the team, your child will be required to pay the following: Breakdown of fees:$100.00—Team Commitment Fee
