Dear RBA Members, The Rutland Business Association is excited to announce that we will be hosting a community celebration in honor of World Smile Day on Friday, October 2, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the center of town. This event will serve as a joyful culmination of the community momentum created by Gibbs Realty&rsquo;s Rutland Smile Pin initiative. Their efforts have helped spread smiles throughout town, and we would love to bring the community together for one special evening to celebrate that spirit.<ul fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Pizza from Fired Up</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Smile cookies from Baked</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Live music from Holdin&rsquo; Back The 60&rsquo;s&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Balloons</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">A community gathering centered around kindness, connection and plenty of smiles</li></ul>The projected cost of the event is approximately $4,300 which includes food, entertainment, balloons and the required police detail.Before reaching out to the larger community, we would like to give RBA members the first opportunity to sponsor this event.All sponsors will receive:<ul fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Recognition on event signage</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Recognition on the RBA website</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Recognition on the RBA Facebook page</li></ul>Businesses contributing $500 or more will also have their logo included on a commemorative holiday ornament that will be given to the first 300 attendees. We will also be offering World Smile Day T-shirts for preorder, with proceeds helping to cover any remaining event expenses not funded through sponsorships. Sponsorships of any amount are greatly appreciated. Every contribution will help us create a welcoming community celebration while highlighting the local businesses that continue to support Rutland. Our next Discover Rutland Late Night is coming up, and we&rsquo;d love to have you join us! Wednesday, September 16 | 6:30 PM Rutland Sportsman&rsquo;s Club These Late Nights are all about bringing our local business community together in a relaxed setting. Come catch up with familiar faces, meet other local business owners and community members, make new connections, and enjoy a night out right here in Rutland. The Rutland Sportsman&rsquo;s Club will be providing an Italian buffet, with a cash bar (non alcoholic drinks at no charge), plus live music by Joe Collard.
