The Cove Initiative, NFP

LXCL:The Cove Initiative empowers individuals and families by providing education, practical resources, and meaningful support that strengthen our community. Through programs, outreach, and connection, we work to break barriers, foster resilience, and create lasting opportunities for growth, hope, and positive change.

Join us for &ldquo;A Pinch of Italy,&rdquo; a family-friendly Italian-inspired fundraiser filled with good food, conversation, and community. 🍝 Stop in for lunch, dinner, or anytime in between and enjoy a Build-Your-Own Pasta Dinner featuring a variety of pasta and sauce options, meatballs, chicken Parmesan, salad, garlic bread, dessert, and drinks. Every ticket supports The Cove Initiative, NFP and our work to provide programs, resources, events, and practical support for children and families in our community. Adults: $12 | Kids: $6 Advance ticket purchases are encouraged to help us plan for food and attendance, but walk-ins are welcome and tickets will be the same price at the door. 📅 Sunday, September 27, 2026 ⏰ 11:00 AM&ndash;8:00 PM 📍 Ina Village Community Hall 306 S. A Taste of New Orleans &ndash; Supporting CoveJoin us for an unforgettable evening at A Taste of New Orleans, a celebration of food, music, and community in support of Cove and the work we&rsquo;re doing together.Guests will enjoy a lively night inspired by the spirit of New Orleans, featuring delicious food, great company, and a festive atmosphere. The evening will include a silent auction with wonderful items from local businesses and supporters, giving everyone a chance to bid on something special while helping support our mission.We&rsquo;re also hoping to feature live music to bring the sounds and energy of New Orleans to the event and make it a night to remember.Whether you&#39;re coming to enjoy the experience, support a great cause, or spend time with friends and community members, A Taste of New Orleans is a wonderful way to make an impact while having a great time.All proceeds from the event will help support Cove and the programs and opportunities we provide.We look forward to sharing this special evening with you!

A Taste of New Orleans

Breaking the Cycle is a 6-week small group for adults who are feeling overwhelmed, reactive, or stuck in the same patterns&mdash;and are ready for something to change. Led by The Cove Initiative in partnership with Patterns &amp; Permissions, this group provides a consistent, judgment-free space to learn practical tools, reflect, and connect with others. Each week includes teaching, guided discussion, and real-life skill building to help you:&bull; understand your emotional patterns&bull; regulate your responses in the moment&bull; improve communication and boundaries&bull; build confidence and self-trust This isn&rsquo;t just about awareness&mdash;it&rsquo;s about learning skills you can actually use in your daily life. Facilitated by Amber Thompson, CADC, MHP, MSW Candidate, Founder of Patterns &amp; Permissions. This group is educational and skill-based and is not therapy or a substitute for individual mental health treatment<div data-edge="true" fr-original-style="" style="width: 100%; line-height: 1.5; box-sizing: inherit;"> </div>

We are not just raising money for a cause, we are actively building connections and creating opportunities for people to come together, heal, grow, and support one another.
