Canfield Scout Troop 8025 fosters youth development through outdoor activities, leadership training, and community service, empowering scouts to become responsible, engaged citizens.

READ ME: Troop 8025 Activity Permission Form&nbsp;The Troop Leader is:&nbsp; Suzanne Heino &nbsp;and can be reached at: 330-261-3127 (Keep in mind, we often go to places with limited cell phone coverage or are participating in activities where contact is limited so response time may be delayed)&nbsp; Arrangements:&nbsp;Refer to the GroupMe chat and calendar for drop off and pick up arrangements.&nbsp; Permissions:By completing this registration, I give permission to to the Scout Leaders and adults attending to transport my Scout to / from the activity; otherwise, I will be available to pick her up at the designated time and site. It is the Scout&rsquo;s responsibility to show up to the activity properly prepared for outdoor conditions, one season colder, as discussed at the meeting prior to the event. Failure to do so, will result in not being able to go. If equipment needs to be borrowed, the Scout needs to let the Troop Leader on this form know two weeks in advance so that arrangements can be made.&nbsp; The Troop Leader will notify the parent or guardian at the number you have listed below in the event that there is a change of schedule or emergency. By completing this registration and selecting&nbsp;YES that your Scout is attending this event:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">I/We the undersigned, being the parent or legal guardian of a registered Scout of Troop 8025, Scouting America, sponsored by the Great Trail Council, give me/our consent and permission to participate in the above listed activity.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">I/We agree to hold harmless and release from liability for any injuries and damages arising in any manner from said adventure. This includes traveling, the leaders of Troop 8025 BSA, and any other adults taking part in said adventure.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">I/We authorize the leaders to provide first aid if the need arises.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">I/We also authorize the leaders to obtain medical and/or hospital treatment for my child in case of accident, injury or illness.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">I/We also give permission to use my child&rsquo;s photograph publicly to promote the Troop&rsquo;s activities. I understand that the images may be used in print publications, online publications, presentations, websites and social media. I also understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.</li></ul> This form and money is due two weeks prior to departure to attend the activity.***Please make sure your Scout&rsquo;s Personal Health &amp; Medical form is up to date***&nbsp;

Join Canfield Scout Troop 8025 for a campout at Champion Forest &ndash; Lake County Camp ⛺🌲 Scouts will practice real outdoor skills, cook together, and work as a team while exploring the woods and lakeside. This trip will include tent camping, visit to James Garfield Home, Lighthouse Museum, Finnish Heritage Museum, afternoon at the beach (bring a suit) and evening at the Observatory Park.&nbsp; Sunday Hike so plan to be home between 12-2pm

Please complete this form so we can plan gear, food, and activities for every scout. Your details help us support youth leadership, responsibility, and safe adventure throughout the weekend. Families and volunteers, share any information we should know so all scouts can participate and grow with confidence.
