The 3 little warriors in need of some joy!
$15,000 is our goal!!! It’s a lot of money but we would like to gift each one of these families $5000 around Christmas. All three of these strong little warriors have a fantastic story that we will attach below. (and also be sharing on social media)I know with the amount of people that follow us, if we each donated a few dollars (or a lot of dollars if you’re able) AND we shared with all our followers, friends, and family, we could make Christmas for these families much easier!!!! Let’s go!! Meet Luke, Alex and Roman! SUPER STRONG & COURAGEOUS LUKE!Luke is mid treatment with his battle with Bcell Leukemia. He also had a tumor on his spine from the cancer that caused him to become paralyzed from the chest down. He has had many set backs as he has gotten side effects from almost every treatment he has received causing his treatment plan to continue to change. Despite the set backs Luke has been fighting hard and uses his spicy sense of humor to overcome his obstacles. He recently started to take some steps and stand with a walker which is a huge accomplishment for him. Luke is taking this journey one day at a time and pushing himself to overcome his setbacks. Seeing all the love and support everyone has shown him helps him to stay strong. ~Luke’s family is down one income and as you can imagine, this makes things tough all over!!! ALEX- CRyouth ARKANSAN WARRIOR!Alex was a year old when he was diagnosed with kidney failure in his only kidney in 2014. In 2019 he had intestinal failure (removed his colon) and 2020 got a kidney transplant. In 2022 they found cancer in his lymph nodes. It didn’t end there and 2023 found him in septic shock. Most recently in 2025 at 12 years old he is fighting mild kidney rejection & soon will get surgery on his intestine. There’s so much more in between the details listed. With all of that and the urethra blockage it is a constant financial struggle to keep stocked on the things not covered by insurance: diapers, pull ups and wipes, just to name a few. Also, not to forget the cost of gas with a 4 hour(one way trip) to the hospital. So far he has 6 appts this month. Even though Alex has spent his whole young life fighting disease, he posts a daily encouragement. Please follow him here on his mama’s Facebook page:https://www.facebook.com/laura.turner.9406?mibextid=wwXIfr">https://www.facebook.com/laura.turner.9406?mibextid=wwXIfrSMALL BUT MIGHTY BABY ROMAN!It was no accident that Lacey and Adam chose “Roman” as a name for their son because his name means, “Strength & Warrior” which is exactly what he has proven to be in his 7 months of life! The last few months have been a whirlwind of helicopter rides, blood transfusions, surgeries, tests, tears, specialists, healing & so much information. The strength & wisdom that Lacey and Adam have shown has bern admirable admiration as they advocate for their son. At this time Roman has been diagnosed with an incredibly rare blood disease that requires Chemotherapy & Bone Marrow transplants (HLH (hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis) is a rare, life-threatening condition in infants where the immune system malfunctions, causing immune cells to attack the body's own cells) The risks are very high but this is his only medical option. They will spend the following 6 months in isolation so that they don’t risk exposing him to sickness which could compromise his body acclimating to the new bone marrow. Roman has already shown such strength and resilience so we fully believe he will overcome this diagnosis and live a long healthy life. ~ If you feel compelled, you can see if you are a match and help save his life by clicking the link to receive a bone marrow match kit (ages 18-35years of age) : https://my.nmdp.org/s/join?language=en_US&joinCode=recruithome&_gl=1*170ld97*_gcl_au*MjgzNDI1MDUxLjE3NjEwNjI4OTI.*_ga*ODcwMjIwMjExLjE3NjEwNjI4OTI.*_ga_6VM6CH82YM*czE3NjMyNDA4MDEkbzMkZzEkdDE3NjMyNDA4MDkkajUyJGwwJGgw~ Romans parents are both self employed business owners and have not been able to work while they have been in strict isolation requirements. ~Ultimately, keep the precious Ryan family in your prayers. The family is claiming Luke 18:27: “What is impossible for man, is possible for God!”
