California, the landmark United States Supreme Court case that successfully laid the foundation for the challenge to California’s Alien Land Law. It has significance to our San Diego community because it involved Kajiro Oyama, a Japanese American farmer, who purchased land in Chula Vista in the 1930s.Since 1978, Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego (PALSD) has been a unifying voice of the Asian Pacific American legal community. We develop leaders, educate the community, and empower APA legal professionals.
