Park Takeover is a self-sustaining community. Families who have committed to becoming a member provide a monthly investment towards all activities and programs provided for the children. If you have decided to become a member here is what your monthly donation goes towards. -Healthy food, snacks and drinks at all events hosted by us.-Toys, games, art supplies and sports equipment provided during specific events.-Access to exclusive deals and offers from collaborating organizations (such as Fleet & Science center, World Beat Cultural center, Balboa Museums and parks, Ascendtials)-Free programs for all your children (such as Kemetic yoga sessions, art classes, science workshops, swimming lessons, nature hikes and community garden programs.-We believe it is through nature that we will reconnect with who we are and where we come from, so we are also creating opportunities for our children to go outside of the city and into nature to learn the skills needed towards creating a more self-sustaining lifestyle.
