The Women's Economic Council empowers women and communities to build equitable economic futures through collaboration, advocacy, and innovative programs that address economic challenges and promote justice and resilience.

A small, interactive gathering to imagine and build more equitable economic futures together. On March 21, we are bringing together a small group of community builders, leaders, and changemakers for a morning of conversation, creativity, and collective imagination.This Community Design Lab is the final gathering of our Reclaiming Power, Rebuilding Futures series, and it&rsquo;s designed to move us from reflection to action.Over the past few weeks, we have been listening to stories of resilience, economic challenges, and the ways women and communities continue to build power in difficult times. Now, we want to bring those insights into the room and ask:What kind of economy do we actually want to build together?During this in-person gathering, participants will work in small groups to explore that question through a hands-on design lab using LEGO and facilitated dialogue.Together, we will:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">reflect on the themes that emerged from earlier conversations</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">build visual models of the economic futures we want to see</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">share ideas and insights across groups</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">connect with community organizations working toward economic justice</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">identify small but meaningful actions we can take moving forward</li></ul>This is not a lecture or a conference.It&rsquo;s a collaborative space to think, build, and imagine together.Because the experience is interactive, participation is intentionally limited to 40 people so that everyone can contribute and be heard. A light breakfast will be provided, and there will be more to discover initiatives supporting women&rsquo;s economic empowerment and community development.Whether you are an organizer, entrepreneur, professional, student, or community ally, this space is an opportunity to:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">meet people who care about the same issues</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">exchange ideas and experiences</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">imagine what more equitable economic systems could look like</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">and leave feeling energized about what we can build together.</li></ul>We hope you&rsquo;ll join us.

Join us to share stories, name what&rsquo;s not working, and imagine what could be together.Come to one or all three. No experience needed. Just your truth, your voice, your hopes.This event is part of Reclaiming Power, Rebuilding Futures, a community-driven series hosted by Womens&#39; Economic Council to spark imagination, solidarity, and action for feminist economic justice.
