Every Cut Matters Silent Auction &amp; Friend-Raiser: Tonight&rsquo;s auction is more than a collection of beautiful goods and experiences&mdash;it&rsquo;s a celebration of the people carefully curating &amp; rebuilding a more transparent, resilient, and humane food system from the ground up. Every winning bid helps the Good Meat Project continue connecting eaters with the farmers, ranchers, butchers, and chefs who steward land, animals, and community with care. In partnership with Carnation Farms, we&rsquo;ve gathered around this table to honor what local food can truly be: nourishing, honest, and deeply rooted in relationship-and Feast in the Field. Each auction item carries a story&mdash;from field to pasture to kitchen&mdash;and every bid helps grow practical education, stronger local food systems, and a future where our choices at the dinner table give, instead of take. NOTE:Some items will be available for immediate pick up at the event. Other items may require shipping or email delivery, so make sure to provide accurate information with your bid so we can communicate with you and ensure items can be delivered in a timely manner! Once you win the bid, you will receive an email confirmation and within 24-48 hours, you will received another email from us with details. Also, any winning bid that is more than fair market value of the item, only the excess donation over fair market value may be deductible. Bidder registration is requiredEvery bidder must register with a name, email, phone number, and (for mobile bidding) a payment method on file before placing any bid.&nbsp;&zwj;2. Bidding starts and ends at the times postedYou may begin bidding at exact start and end times. Today&#39;s auction is an online-only auction. Late bids are invalid, no exceptions.&nbsp;&zwj;3. Bids must meet the minimum incrementBids that don&#39;t meet the increment are disqualified.&zwj;4. Starting bids reflect fair market valueStarting bids are set at 80-110% of fair market value. The FMV itself is noted in the app so you can determine what portion of your winning bid is potentially tax-deductible.&zwj;5. Bidders may bid on as many items as they wantThere&#39;s no cap on how many items a single bidder can win. Multiple bids per person will help give our top supporters room to compete.&zwj;6. All bids and sales are finalOnce a bid is placed, it can&#39;t be retracted. Once the auction closes, the high bid is the sale. There are no refunds, no exchanges, no &quot;I changed my mind&quot; clauses offered at this auction.&nbsp;&zwj;7. Winning bidders pay in full at the close of the auctionAll winners pay before taking the item home, by credit card, mobile payment, or cash. The mobile app bidding with a card on file, charges winners automatically the moment the auction closes. 8. Limits apply where notedSome items, such as alcohol packages, experience trips, and items with capacity caps, may carry per-bidder limits. Review the item card on your table for details.&nbsp;&zwj;9. Age restrictions are enforcedBidders must be 21+ to win items containing alcohol, and 18+ to bid generally. Our team may be required to check ID at checkout for restricted items.&nbsp;&zwj;10. Bidders assume the risk of their bidsItems are described to the best of our knowledge, but neither nonprofit makes any warranty of the items. Bidders assume all risks related to using the Zeffy platform and for the bid, item for bid, and experience.&zwj;11. Items are sold as-isNo guarantees, no warranties, no returns. We have described each item&#39;s condition honestly to set expectations up front. 12. Determination of WinnersThe highest bid received by 7:30 PM on August 22, 2026, will determine the winner of the items. Payment will be processed automatically and the winner will be notified.
