We provide lifesaving veterinary care, safe foster homes, and compassionate rehabilitation while working alongside communities to reduce cat overpopulation through spay and neuter initiatives, education, and collaborative partnerships.Since 2019, we've helped more than 3,800 cats receive the care, compassion, and second chance they deserve. Beat the Heat: Saskatchewan’s First and Only Province-Wide Spay-It-Forward CampaignSaskatchewan is in a constant state of cat overpopulation, with rescues and shelters overwhelmed by requests for help. Intake freezes, limited resources, and euthanasia are harsh realities—but the only true solution is spay and neuter.Beat the Heat is a year-round initiative providing reduced-cost spay/neuter services to residents across Saskatchewan—regardless of location or financial ability. By funding spay and neuter surgeries, we can humanely reduce overpopulation and prevent thousands of unwanted kittens from being born into suffering.In 2023, we raised $10,000, but it wasn’t enough to meet the overwhelming demand for assistance. We are determined to try again. If we don’t reach our goal, all funds will still go directly toward altering cats in need—ensuring every dollar makes an impact.100% of donations go toward this program.
