PHYLLIS C WATTIS FOUNDATION

Supports smaller organizations and individual artists to develop brand new contemporary artistic projects across disciplines; grants support the development and presentation of daring and diverse new works in the Bay Area.

Must be a 501(c)(3) public charity or be fiscally sponsored by one | Organizations and artists must work in Alameda, Marin, and/or San Francisco counties | Organizational budget not to exceed $1,500,000 | Project budgets must be $100,000 or below | Projects must be completed within one year of receiving funds | Recipients must complete a 12-month rest period after project completion before requesting subsequent support | Current Legacy grantees are not eligible to apply

New Works

Supports Bay Area community arts organizations in San Francisco, Alameda, and Marin Counties by funding infrastructure and services that help working artists (financial support, professional development, housing, networking and career advancement).

Must be a Bay Area community arts organization in San Francisco, Alameda, or Marin Counties | Legacy Grants will be reviewed on an invite-only basis
