About this foundation

THE LORD’S FOUNDATION, INC. states its mission is to glorify God by serving spiritual, emotional, and physical needs in the name of Jesus Christ. The foundation funds activities described in Matthew (feeding the hungry, caring for the sick, shelter, clothing, prison ministry) and evangelistic teaching/foreign missions. At least 70% of funds go to eight legacy organizations and no more than 10% to non-Christian agencies; most other recipients receive relatively small awards ($1,000–$2,000). The site instructs organizations to submit a hard-copy application by July 15 for Board consideration.
