About this foundation

Walmart.org represents the philanthropic efforts of Walmart and the Walmart Foundation and focuses on strengthening communities, creating opportunity and advancing sustainability. The site states the foundation and Walmart together contributed $2 billion in cash and in-kind donations globally in the last year. Programming includes Spark Good local grants, round-up, registries, storefront reservations and associate programs, with both open application tracks and invitation-only programs. Grantmaking is deployed through local store, club and distribution-center initiatives as well as larger strategic grants and RFPs. The foundation highlights disaster response, hunger relief, farmer livelihood programs and equity work in news and program pages.
