About this foundation

The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is a Quaker organization that "works for a just, peaceful, and sustainable world" and pursues systemic change. AFSC focuses on strategic goals including just and sustainable peace, just economies, and just responses to migration. The organization operates internationally and in the United States and supports community-led social justice work. AFSC runs targeted funds such as the Reparative Justice & Healing Fund, which supports Black and Indigenous-led social justice organizations and offers awards up to $10,000.
