About this foundation

The McKinney Family Foundation (MFF) is a multi-generation family foundation established in 2007 that focuses on environmental sustainability for Hoosiers. MFF convenes experts, advocates, and peer funders and provides expertise on Indiana environmental issues to community-based and civic organizations. The foundation emphasizes a sustainable clean energy economy, inclusive democracy addressing environmental impacts, and capacity building for environmental nonprofits. MFF describes itself as Indiana’s anchor funder and publishes program opportunities such as the Robert H. McKinney Legacy Prize.
