About this foundation

Founded in 2010, the Tinty Foundation provides grants to local charitable organizations and projects, focusing on youth programs, public services, animal rights and healthcare. The foundation prioritizes smaller organizations (operating budgets under $1M), grassroots projects, and direct-service programs. Grants range from small awards to larger grants and the foundation uses a two-step application process (LOI, then invited proposals). LOIs are accepted year-round and reviewed quarterly.

Funding focus

The Tinty Foundation primarily makes grants to charitable organizations that have been recognized by the IRS as being described in Section 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) or 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code.
