About this foundation

Started in 1996 by C. F. Martin IV, the Martin Guitar Charitable Foundation supports causes by giving to nonprofit music, arts, education, environmental action, and human services groups. Foundation trustees manage assets conservatively to promote long-term planning and seek to achieve the best value from grant-making. The foundation publishes annual totals and percent distributions by category and highlights featured local, regional and national grantees. The foundation uses an online application hosted through Lehigh Valley Community Foundation during a yearly application window.
